Harshit Khatter: A Journey from Shy Beginner to Math Champion
Some students don’t just pass through your classroom — they leave a mark on your life. For Ms. Divya Adhlakha, Harshit Khatter is one of those students.
Harshit joined her Cuemath Center in Grade 1 — a quiet, introverted little boy who trusted only his mother. If his mom arrived even a few minutes late to pick him up, he would become visibly anxious. That innocent nervousness, Ms. Divya recalls, “always made me feel protective of him.”

Meet Harshit Khatter
- Grade 9, highest-performing student in math at school
- Cuemath Center student since Grade 1
- Loves math puzzles and problem-solving
- From introverted beginner to confident leader
In those early days, Ms. Divya knew that math could be more than marks on a report card. She introduced Harshit to puzzle cards, logical thinking activities, and real-life problem-solving challenges.
“And that clicked something in him,” she says.
From there, Harshit began to open up — participating in discussions, befriending classmates, and taking on leadership roles in class events. The same boy who once hesitated to speak was now the first to volunteer, and he never missed a single event at the Center.
“There’s a deep emotional connection — so much so that I’m always there to support him, even beyond class hours. Watching his journey from a shy little boy to a confident, bright young learner has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching life. Some students don’t just attend your class; they become a part of your story, your purpose, your family.”
~ MS. DIVYA ADLAKHA, HIS TUTOR AT CUEMATH CENTER

Today, Harshit continues at the same Cuemath Center, now in Grade 9, and is consistently at the top of his class in math. But beyond his academic success, his real achievement is the confidence, resilience, and curiosity he has built along the way.
A problem-solver. A confident thinker. A MathFit child.
