Grade 4 Maths

Children in Grade 4 get introduced to the concept of factors, multiples and prime numbers. It is in Grade 4 that children also learn about decimal numbers. The understanding of Decimal numbers is extended to many other concepts like measurement and time. The idea of area and perimeter is also introduced in this grade. With continuous practice, they should be able to add, subtract, divide and multiply mentally. It is always preferable to introduce the concepts using visual models. It helps concretise the learning.
