Math Boxing
Answer fast to land a punch — drop your rival's health and win the match!
About the Game
Labeled 'The Ladder,' this game runs 12 levels, each tied to one fact family (like multiplication) and a target number of hits to win. Both players see the identical problem with three answer choices; tapping the correct answer lands a punch that drops your rival's health, while a filling timer bar forces you to answer before it fills or the rival hits first. A wrong tap drops your guard, letting the rival hit you instead — health runs out to lose the round.
What Your Child Practices
Rapid recall of one specific fact family (e.g., times tables) under time pressure.
A times-table fact has exactly one correct answer among several close-looking distractors.
The Ladder's 12 levels step through different fact families and difficulty as a child improves.
Balancing speed against accuracy, since a wrong answer costs health rather than just costing time.
