Ei Than Thar Thant Wins the MathFit Honours Award
Ei Than Thar Thant, a Grade 8 student at The Aquila School in Dubai, was named a MathFit Honours Award winner at the Cuemath Parent Summit.
At the Cuemath Parent Summit in Dubai on 13 September 2026, Ei Than Thar Thant was named a MathFit Honours Award winner for Excelling in Mathematics in Year 8. She studies at The Aquila School, and she has been learning math with Cuemath for five years.
The award recognizes exceptional performance in mathematics at school level. Her certificate was signed by Cuemath founder and CEO Manan Khurma.
Her school report from July 2026 says the same thing in its own words: excelling in attainment, developed self-management skills, an excellent attitude to learning. She is ahead of her grade level, and she gets there by running her own work.
That combination is the whole point of the award. MathFit is Cuemath's word for mathematical fitness — math skills and math mindset growing together, rather than one without the other.
Her tutor of five years, Lokeshwari K, wrote the citation read out at the summit.
"Where others see obstacles, she sees opportunities to learn, refine, and push her own boundaries until she masters the concept."
That sentence is the award. A student who works until she has mastered something, rather than until the homework is finished, keeps getting better long after the others have stopped.
