Strike it out
Cross numbers out, circle the answer — strike your rival out of moves.
About the Game
A range of consecutive numbers is laid out on the board (say 11 to 31), and the rule is fixed: add or subtract. Pick any two numbers from the range — if their sum or difference matches a number still on the board, that number lights up gold and you tap it to circle it, crossing out your original two picks. Players alternate turns; if you're ever left with no valid pair that produces a number still on the board, you're out of moves and your opponent wins the round.
What Your Child Practices
Fast mental addition and subtraction under a shared, fixed range.
Seeing how a fixed pair of numbers only ever produces one sum or difference narrows the board's remaining options with every move.
The same pick-and-cross mechanic gets reused across levels that vary the starting range and rule.
Choosing pairs that strategically strand your opponent with no valid move left, rather than just any legal pair.
