In class, Mahwish keeps the new coming. Over time Mihir has gone from solving a problem one way to carrying several strategies into it, and switching calmly when the first one does not work. His report card fills in the detail. Mihir earned an A in Mathematics in both terms, across a Grade 3 curriculum that spans Number, Algebra, Data, Spatial Sense, and Financial Literacy. His teacher's comments sound a lot like his tutor's: when multiplying and dividing, he works with several strategies at once, arrays, repeated addition, equal groups.
