With the help of a ruler and a compass it is not possible to construct an angle of :
a. 37.5°
b. 40°
c. 22.5°
d. 67.5°
Solution:
Let us find angle by ruler and a compass
37.5° can be drawn by bisecting 150° twice which can be done by compass
22.5° is the bisector of 90° and can be drawn using a compass
67.5° is the bisector of 135° and can be drawn using a compass
40° cannot be constructed using a ruler and a compass
Therefore, it is not possible to construct an angle of 40°.
