AP Calculus BC Score of 4: The Confidence Saishruthi Built from Algebra 2

By her last months of high school, Saishruthi opened each session knowing exactly what she wanted her tutor for. Three years earlier, in Algebra 2, that certainty was still being built.

She graduated this year with a 4 on AP Calculus BC and a 760 in SAT Math. Behind those numbers sat nearly three years of online math tutoring with Deepak Mavani at Cuemath, begun in Algebra 2.

Saishruthy joined me for one-on-one tutoring nearly three years ago, beginning with Algebra 2. This year, she graduated with an AP Calculus BC score of 4 (and not to forget to mention her SAT score of 760).

Deepak gave that way of working room, and over three years it did its work. By the later stretch, Saishruthi no longer needed every answer checked. She came to each class with her own agenda: the problems she genuinely wanted his help on, and the rest handled on her own. Her practice between sessions was independent, and her questions grew sharper because she knew precisely where her understanding ended.

AP Calculus BC packs two semesters of college calculus into one high school year, and only about 171,000 students nationwide, roughly 1 percent of US high schoolers, sat for the 2026 exam. Her 4 is a score the College Board labels "well qualified," and the 760 in SAT Math came alongside it. Long Cuemath arcs like hers keep producing results like these: Dev scored a perfect 5 on AP Precalculus this year after six years on the platform.

Her parents watched Cuemath build two different things in one student: the foundations in elementary school, and the thinking in high school. By graduation, Saishruthi understood why the methods she used actually work, could find a way into problems she had not seen before, and had the confidence to stay with a hard one until it made sense.
