Given, a table top is semicircular in shape

The diameter of semicircle is 2.8 m

We have to find the area of the table top.

Area of semicircle = πr²/2

Where, r is the radius of circle

Radius = 2.8/2 = 1.4 cm

Area of table top = [22/7 × (1.4)²]/2

= [22(1.96)/7] / 2

= [43.12/7] / 2

= 6.16/2

= 3.08 m²

Therefore, the area of the table top is 3.08 m²
