**Solution:**

(a) The cyclist II rested for 15 minutes from 8:45 am to 9:00 am. Cyclist I did not rest at all.

(b) After rest the cyclist II covered a distance of 20 Km in one hour, which meant that the speed was 20 km/hour. Cyclist I was cycling at the constant speed of 30/(3/2) = 20 km/hour throughout the journey.

(c) The cyclists met at 9:00 am.

(d) The cyclist II had travelled 10 km when he met cyclist I

(e) When cyclist I reached town A, cyclist II was still 10 km away from town B
