# Value of (256)^{0.16 }× (256)^{0.09 }is

a. 4

b. 16

c. 64

d. 256.25

**Solution:**

Given

(256)^{0.16 }× (256)^{0.09 }

It can be written as

= (256)^{16/100 }× (256)^{9/100}

Using a^{m} × a^{n} = a^{m + n}

= 256 ^{16/100 + 9/100}

= 256^{25/100}

So we get

= 256^{1/4}

= (4^{4})^{1/4}

We know that [a^{m}]^{n} = a^{mn}

= 4

Therefore, the value is 4.
