-3/7 ÷ (-7/3) = ____.
Solution:
Given, the numbers are (-3/7) and (-7/3)
We have to find the value of division of both numbers.
Product of rational numbers = product of numerator / product of denominator
So, (-3/7) ÷ (-7/3) = (-3/7) × (3/-7)
If the signs of the factors are different, the product is negative.
Product of numerator = (-3) × 3 = -9
Product of denominator = 7 × (-7) = -49
Product of rational numbers = -9/-49
= 9/49
Therefore, the required value is 9/49
