How many 6-digit numbers can be formed from the digits 0, 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 which are divisible by 10 and no digit is repeated?
Solution:
The total number of digits = 6 (0,1,3,5,7,9).
For a number to be divisible by 10, the last digit must be 0.
Then there are 5 places that re to be filled with the remaining 5 digits (1,3,5,7,9).
The number of ways to do this = ⁵P₅
= 5! / (5-5)! (Using nPr formula)
= 120
