# In Fig.8.2, ABCD and AEFG are two parallelograms. If ∠C = 55º, determine ∠F.

**Solution:**

From the figure,

ABCD and AEFG are two __parallelograms__

AD or AG and AB or AE are the two sides which are sharing

∠C = 55º

As the opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

∠F = ∠A

∠A = ∠C

So we get

∠F = ∠C

As ∠C = 55º, ∠F = 55º

Therefore, ∠F = 55º.

**✦ Try This:** PQRS and PTUV are two parallelograms. If ∠R = 45º, determine ∠U.

## In Fig.8.2, ABCD and AEFG are two parallelograms. If ∠C = 55º, determine ∠F.

**Summary:**

A parallelogram is defined as a quadrilateral in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel and equal. In Fig.8.2, ABCD and AEFG are two parallelograms. If ∠C = 55º, ∠F = 55º
