The statement ‘p^{2}q + q^{2}r + r^{2}q’ is a binomial is false.

An algebraic expression which consists of two non-zero terms is called a binomial.

Given the equation, p^{2}q + q^{2}r + r^{2}q has three non-zero terms.

∴ The given polynomial having three terms, is trinomial not a binomial.
