The German Mathematical Olympiad (Mathematik-Olympiade) is Germany's national mathematics competition, entered each year by school students across the country. It is sat in rounds -- school, regional, state and finally a national round -- with entrants taking a paper set for their own grade, and medals awarded to the highest scorers who reach the national final.
