Area of park = Length × Breadth

Length of the garden including path = 125 m + 3 m + 3 m = 131 m

Breadth of the garden including path = 65 m + 3 m + 3 m = 71 m

Area of the park including the path = Length × Breadth

= 131 m × 71 m

= 9301 m^{2}

Area of the path = Area of the park including path - Area of the park

= 9301 m^{2} - 8125 m^{2}

= 1176 m^{2}

Hence, required area of the path = 1176 m^{2}
