Arrange in ascending order: 2⁵, 3³, 2³ × 2, (3³)², 3⁵, 4⁰, 2³ × 3¹
Solution:
Given, 2⁵, 3³, 2³ × 2, (3³)², 3⁵, 4⁰, 2³ × 3¹
We have to arrange the number in ascending order.
Ascending(increasing) order is the arrangement of the given numbers from the smallest to the largest.
By expanding the given number, we get,
2⁵ = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 32
3³ = 3 × 3 × 3 = 27
2³ × 2 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 = 16
Since, (am)n =amn
(3³)² = 3³⁽²⁾ = 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 = 729
3⁵ = 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 × 3 = 243
4⁰ = 1
2³ × 3¹ = 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 = 24
729>243>32>24>16>1.
Therefore, the ascending order will be,
4°< 2³ × 2 < 2³ × 3¹ < 3³ < 2⁵ < 3⁵ < (3³)².
