# Find the angle which is equal to its complement

**Solution:**

Complementary angles are those type of angles which add up to 90 degrees.

Solve for angle which is equal to its complement. Let the angle be 𝑥.

Therefore, the complement of this angle will also be 𝑥.

We know that the sum of the measure of pair of complementary angles is 90°.

𝑥 + 𝑥 = 90°.

2𝑥 = 90°.

𝑥 = 90°/ 2

𝑥 = 45°.

Thus, the angle which is equal to its complement is 45°.
