"Cuemath is my identity"
Mohena Nagar, from Greater Noida, was a design graduate with three years of work experience. A teacher who once changed how she saw herself became the reason she chose to teach maths. Here is her story, in her own words.

"I was a design graduate with three years of work experience. I had always done well in maths, but in Grade 11 I failed a maths exam for the first time in my life, under a teacher who had little patience for students still finding their footing.""What I needed at that crossroads was a mentor. There was one teacher, Krishnendu Sir, who was patient and would re-teach until the concept landed. I never got him as my teacher, but his presence showed me that the right person, at the right time, can change how a student sees themselves. That memory quietly became the reason I chose to become a maths educator."
What Made Her Start
"I had always believed I wanted financial independence and a family, not one at the cost of the other. As women, we often find ourselves in spaces where that balance feels impossible, and I didn't want to accept that. Cuemath found me through Instagram. I applied immediately. Something just felt right."
What Teaching Gave Her
"Over these six years, I have grown in ways I am grateful for. I started by teaching students across regions, then moved to the NAM region. I took on the role of Cluster Director, learning what it truly means to lead a team, and today I am also part of the Interviewer Panel.""When I teach my K-to-5 students, my deepest wish is that they leave my class seeing maths as something understandable, something they can actually do and maybe even love. Six years in, Cuemath is my identity. It has given me financial independence, professional growth, and the rare gift of loving what I do every single day."
What She'd Tell Anyone Still Deciding
"If you are someone standing at a crossroads, wondering if the timing is right, if the balance is possible, if you are enough, I want you to know: it is. You are. Stay dedicated. Keep showing up. The right things have a way of finding you."
A patient teacher once showed Mohena what mentorship could do. Six years on, that is who she has become.
