"I was an Assistant Professor in an engineering college for a couple of years, then a homemaker."
What Made Her Start
"First and foremost, to teach maths to my kid, and then for career growth. While scrolling through Facebook one day, I happened to see a Cuemath advertisement. I felt that maths would be useful for my child, so I simply applied, and that small step became the beginning of a beautiful journey."
What Teaching Gave Her
"Though I had earlier worked as an Assistant Professor, I never imagined I would enjoy teaching children this much. Over time, spending time with students and teaching them maths and coding became the favourite part of my everyday life.""Along the way, I gained immense knowledge while training students for various competitive exams and curricula across different states and countries. Seeing students grow in confidence, overcome their fear of maths, and begin enjoying problem-solving has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me. Sometimes, one small step taken for our children can unexpectedly transform our own lives too."
What She'd Tell Anyone Still Deciding
"Becoming a Cuemath tutor has been one of the most meaningful journeys of my life. If you genuinely love learning and guiding children, Cuemath gives you a platform to grow, teach creatively, and make a real difference. Along the way, you also continue learning and evolving as a teacher and as a person."
Srilekha applied to help her own child, and rediscovered a passion for teaching she never knew she had.
