We have to write the opposite of three-fifths in the form of p/q.
Opposite of three-fifths means reciprocal of three-fifths.
Three-fifths = 3/5
Reciprocal means an expression which when multiplied by another expression, gives unity (1) as a result.
Reciprocal of 3/5 = 1/(3/5)
= 5/3
Therefore, p/q = 5/3
