From the plan we observe that the family room is in rectangular shape.

__Perimeter of rectangle__ = 2(length + breadth)

Length = 4.57 m

Breadth = 5.48 m

Perimeter = 2(4.57 + 5.48)

= 2(10.05)

= 20.10 m

Therefore, the moulding needed for the family room is 20.10 m.
