(i) Considering kx = ak
Cancelling out common term, we get
x = a

Taking out (1/k) as common,
(1/k)x = (1/k)a
Cancelling out common term,
x = a
When k is 0, x/0 = a/0 which is undefined.
(iii) Considering x - k = a - k
x = a - k + k
x = a
(iv) Considering x + k = a + k
x = a + k - k
x = a
Therefore, x/k = a/k is not true.
