Is a square prism the same as a cube? Explain.
Answer: A square prism may or may not be the same as a cube
A square prism has squares bases and lateral faces adjoining the corresponding vertices of the squares at both ends.
A cube can be seen as a solid figure with square bases and the lateral faces formed by joining the corresponding vertices of the squares at the bases. So all square prisms always are not cubes but all cubes are square prisms. This is only because of the fact that not all square prisms have a square vertical surface.
