15% = 15/100

15% of 250

= 15/100 × 250

= 37.5%

(b) 1% of 1 hour

1% = 1/100

1% of 1 hour

1 hour = 60 minutes

= 1/100 × 60 min

= 0.6 minutes

(c) 20% of ₹ 2500

20% = 20/100

20% of Rs. 2500

= 20/100 × 2500

= Rs. 500

(d)75% of 1kg

75% = 75/100

75% of 1kg 

1 kg = 1000 gms

= 75/100 ×1000 gms

= 750 gms
