Let us arrange the given observation in ascending order

Total observation n = 10

As n is even, let us use the median formula

Median = [(n/2)th observation + (n/2 + 1)th observation]/2

Substituting the value

= [(10/2)th observation + (10/2 + 1)th observation]/2

= [5th observation + 6th observation]/2

So we get

= [54 + 54]/2

= 108/2

= 54

Therefore, the median of the data is 54.
