# Latika bought a teapot for Rs 120 and a set of cups for Rs 400. She sold teapot at a profit of 5% and cups at a loss of 5%. The amount received by her is

(a) Rs 494

(b) Rs 546

(c) Rs 506

(d) Rs 534

**Solution:**

Cost price of teapot = Rs. 180

Selling Price of teapot @5% profit = 105 × (120/100)

= 105 × (6/5)

= 21 × 6

Cost Price of the set of cups = Rs. 400

Selling Price of the set of tea cups @5% loss = 95 × (400/100)

Cost price of teapot = Rs. 180

Selling Price of teapot @10% profit = 110 × (180/100)

= 110 × (9/5)
